Romney’s Concession Speech
I believe in America. I believe in the people of America.
No you don’t, and neither do I. Quit posturing and acting like a white guy with manners. We have now officially moved beyond bipartisanship and good sportsmanship. The Left has been using the tendency of Conservatives to compromise for some time now.
And I ran for office because I’m concerned about America.
I believe you did, and I thank you, but I’m afraid you simply did not realize how many people just don’t believe in the old American values. It’s a new America, and one destined to fail. Unfortunately our lives have been such that we will probably witness both the high and low points of its history and the world will be the worse for it.
This election is over, but our principles endure.
Not really, as evidenced by the results of this election.
I believe that the principles upon which this nation was founded are the only sure guide to a resurgent economy and to renewed greatness.
True enough, but that’s assuming those are the goals. That’s where you made your mistake, we have too many “Americans” that just don’t like America and they will continue to vote the country out of existence, and cry about it when it happens. We are a country of fools. Thanks for your effort, but we all have to decide what to do next and get out before it’s too late.
