The Best Blog Of 2012
Don’t argue with me, after all, naming a best blog is inherently subjective. I happen to like this one because the author gives me something I don’t often get elsewhere. Let’s assume that the “Top Ten Blogs of the Year” all had to do with the best way to cook lasagna, wouldn’t it be nice to have an Indian Food Blog make the list, even if we have no interest in Indian Food?
The truth of the matter is that it really doesn’t matter if the blog in question is the absolute very best number one blog of the year. The real question is how far down the list of “best blogs” one has to go before finding one that presents new material in as well written and interesting a way. The most difficult task of any thinker is to create a set of circumstances which motivates his discussion partner to think outside the box. Here is an independent blog which at least makes the attempt.
I’m going to conclude my remarks by suggesting that whether or not you agree that The Last Psychiatrist is the “Best Blog of 2012” is really irrelevant in terms of what I hope to accomplish by publishing this article. The real point is to bring to your attention a site which I believe you will find both interesting and informative. My only worry is that you will return to complain that you ended up spending too much time in the archives and reading the various comments.
Thanks for listening and, for those who might find it convenient, I’d certainly be interested in any feedback as to whether they agreed with my assessment.
(This article is not part of the on-going process of nominating “Best Blogs of 2012” apparently focused primarily on those authored and published on wordpress…thanks.)
