Who Is Jason Richwine?
In 2009 Mr Richwine’s dissertation entitled IQ and Immigration Policy was accepted and certified by the appropriate parties at Harvard University as a part of the process which resulted in him being granted a Doctorate in Philosophy.
After a brief stint at the American Enterprise Institute he was offered and accepted a position at the Heritage Foundation (here).
In 2013 he coauthored a report “….released by the Heritage Foundation arguing that the Rubio-Schumer immigration bill will cost the nation $6.3 trillion.”
He has since lost his job ostensibly because of the views he expressed in a dissertation which has been available to the Heritage Foundation for over three years.
This is the same Heritage Foundation which only recently installed as its new head former Senator, and supposed Tea Party favorite, Jim DeMint, who was billed as “….an active conservative partisan often at odds with his party’s leadership”, and was quoted as saying. “… (that) he will “protect the integrity of Heritage’s research and not politicize the policy component. Heritage is not just another grassroots political group.”
Once again we find that there is a disconnect between the rank and file conservative and those who claim to represent them.
Sad.
