Edward Snowden and Unintended Consequences

July 17, 2013

There’s a problem which I haven’t really seen addressed elsewhere so I invite you to consider how Mr Snowden’s allegations and/or whistle blowing actions may not produce the results which he, and his supporters, are envisioning.  As events continue to unfold, one might even be forgiven for wondering  whose side Mr. Snowden is on.  The title of a Shakespearean play comes to mind…namely….”Much Ado About Nothing”.

The point is not whether or not Mr Snowden is right or wrong but is instead how little the American People seem to care.  What better way to “test the waters” than to have someone such as Mr. Snowden come forward and see how loose the chain is on those in power?  Now, I’m not saying that’s the case, I’m just saying that the absolute worst of all worlds is to have someone come forward with such egregious allegations as has Mr. Snowden only to have them ignored and defended.
